Grandpa having fun.

Grandpa is really having fun gardening, camping, dancing and going to Evonnie baseball game. For a man in his 90's he is sure getting around. It really do my heart good to see him on the go. If I can do what he do when I'm 70 I'll be happy.

Evonnie's Baseball Game

Me and Dar went to see Evonnie play baseball. Her team is in first place and look like they will go all the way. She hit two triples and got one out. She can really hit the ball. If we are here, we will go see her play again. It was pretty fun except for the no meat tacos. You had to be there.

Let the Games Begain!!!!!

This is what you look forward to being a Grandpa. You get to see your Grand kids participate in sports and love every minutes of it. They really have fun at it and it give them confidants to do other things. I have a filling that they can't wait to teach their little sister the ropes when she is old enough to play. I can't wait to see what sport they will stay with. Or maybe none at all but at least they gave it a try. They will be all the better for doing it because they will make some good friends along the way

It's a GIRL

Today we found out that we have a new Granddaughter. Our Grandson wasn't to happy about the turn out but I'm sure he will love her just the same. See if you can figure out the before and after picture of Micheal. I also went to a couple of practices of the girls and it look like they will do real well at the sport they are playing. I'll get to see Michael play T-ball later on but from what I'm hearing he will do well also. We also went out to celebrate the new addition to the family and Bryan passing a very important test that will help him move up in his job. So of course life is good. Until the next time

Going to Bryan and TaNicka's House

We just left Utah and headed to Washington to see to see Bryan, TaNicka and the rest of the Family. We stop in Mt Home and saw some friends there. We stop by and called one friend and she wasn't in. maybe we will see them on the trip back. In Utah we saw a lot of family and had a real good time visiting with all of them. We also meet Evonnie's new Bow. He was a pretty nice guy. We hope to hang out with him some more so we can get to know each other better. They seem to be good together.
We also check off some things on our to do list such as going to Zion and staying at a hotel with a golf course right outside the door. They also let us keep the golf carts to golf anytime we wanted. We took road trips to the parks and to see the Sand Dunes. We saw Gladys Knight in an outside concert. Gladys and her brother put on a great concert. Well, that's all for now. Until the next time

Here we go again

We are about to hit the road again. We had so much fun here at Beaver Dam and we are looking forward to come back again at the end of this year. Even through we had fun we are looking forward to seeing our kids, Grand kids and friends again. I hear they are, that is the Grand kids, getting into so many things such as sports, new friends, school, and of course just growing up to be the good people I know they are going to be makes me proud.

We have a lot planed this year. I hope we can get it all in. It is fun being on the road but it is great seeing family especially my two girls. More to come

Singing In the Rain

We finally went to see a play called 'Singing in the Rain'. It was a nice get a way. We really enjoyed it. Met new people and had a chance to experience new things. Now I want to go see a vocal concert. The last one we seen was "Boston Pops". You wouldn't believed the singing. We are also looking into going to see Gladys Night at an outside theater in St George. I can't wait to hear what that sounds like. I guess that's what retirement is all about. Getting out and experiencing new things.

Car Show

Myself and Darlene went to a car show with Carl and Pat. The car they had there had a lot of work put into them. They had so many cars there they had to show them in three different places. It had to be over 200 cars there. We have already put together a list of things we want to do. We will try to keep them posted as we do them. Dar is geting to like the game of Golf. She want to take some lessons to play better. She is going to play at the Palms Golf Course with some of her friends for a girls day out. It should be fun for her. Until the next time

Golfing

Well I'll give you two guesses of what we are doing. You got it GOLFING. We are also planning a couple of trip to go see friends. We will see where that leads. We are taking up bowling again. We went with Carl and Pat and had a great time. If you ask me they are really good bowler. I hope we can do that once or twice a month so we can stay on top of our game and get better. It is good exercise. I also started playing racquetball again. Not like I use to because of my knees but it is still fun. I found out I can still hold my own on the court. I also found some pictures of me, Bryan and Michael hitting some golf balls when we lived in Mt Home. Man have he grown.

Take Care
